Description
Methanealert is a methane detector for environments with the presence of gases, it provides the necessary and required safety conditions in commercial and industrial facilities where there is a risk of fire or explosion due to the presence of liquid or gaseous fuels.
The technology with which I know the design of the Methanealert methane detector allows you to configure alarm levels and indicator light that will allow users to know the different levels of methane gas.
The Methanealert methane sensor works with an infrared sensor that detects the different levels of methane in the environment, activating two types of alarms depending on the gas concentration in the environment.
Each Methanealert methane sensor alarm corresponds to a level in percent of LFL (Lower flammability limit Lower flammability limit). Both alarm level 1 and level 2 are independently configurable with the desired LEL concentration value between 0 and 50%.
- Detection of two configurable levels of explosive mixture in the range of 0 to 2.5% by volume which is the equivalent of 0-50% range of the lower explosive limit (LEL).
- Methane measurement method based on IR (infrared) absorption spectrum.
